He obtained his BCom Financial Accounting degree through North-West University (Potchefstroom campus), after which he successfully completed his articles. He enjoys an active lifestyle and has successfully completed five Comrades marathons. He resides in George with his wife, Nadine, and busy-bee toddler, Emma.
